About Arctic Adventure:

Arctic Adventure is one of the oldest and most experienced tour operators in the North Atlantic. We specialise in hotel based, soft adventure tours to Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

  • All our departures are guaranteed so you don’t have to book a minimum of travellers.
  • We don’t sell directly to the public – only through the travel trade.
  • Our prices are always NET in Danish Kroner.

We are also highly experienced in operating MICE groups and private jet tours as well as cruise handling in Scandinavia and the North Atlantic.

We only work with 3 and 4 star hotels, which we have personally visited and feel would be suitable for our travelers. E.g. the staff is serviceminded and the rooms are clean and have private facilities wherever possible (we will always tell you at the time of booking if a hotel only offers shared facilities!).

In Greenland we also place great emphasis on using properties which are family owned and employ a number of local staff.

However – it is important to remember that the standard of accommodation should never be the main selling point of a tour to the North Atlantic. We guarantee that your hotel rooms will be clean and the vast majority will have private facilities as standard, but you will not find marble bath rooms, 24 hr room service or fitness facilities at hotels in this part of the world!

Arctic Adventure is member no. 1535 of the Danish Travel Guarantee Fund: Rejsegarantifonden.

Our history and our team:

Arctic Adventure sent their first tourists to Greenland in the summer of 1983 and have continued to grow ever since.

Our head quarter is located in the heart of Copenhagen and we also have a marketing office in the UK. During the summer season we have fully staffed offices in Ilulissat, West Greenland and Narsarsuaq, South Greenland.

Our multi-lingual Arctic Adventure guide team is looking forward to welcoming your guests in Greenland during the season.

Like ourselves, they have a passion for the Arctic and possess vast knowledge about Greenlandic history, nature and culture. Trained entirely by ourselves, they are story-tellers, destination enthusiasts and knowledgeable travel companions.

Starting upon arrival in the airport your guests will be well looked after by our team. They will arrange a welcome meeting and city walk. At the welcome meeting your guests can buy excursions and ask any questions they may have.

At each destination we have a Destination Coordinator who is in charge of the logistics at the destination and of course in direct contact with the office in Copenhagen.

Our guide team speaks several languages, and at each destination we do our very best to cover: English, German and Spanish. On request we can provide even more languages e.g. French, Italian a.o. | All rights reserved | Site map | About | Terms and conditions
