Travelling in the Arctic

Flight connections:

There are two airlines who can take you to Greenland at the moment.

Air Greenland has several weekly departures all year round, from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq and Narsarsuaq. From Kangerlussuaq you can connect to Ilulissat, Nuuk and other cities on the West Coast.

Air Iceland Connect offers direct flights from Iceland to Ilulissat during the summer season (June-September) and for a few months during the winter.

In the summer time they also offer direct flights from Iceland to Narsarsuaq, Nuuk and Kulusuk.

If you wish to go to Iceland, the best flight connections are with Icelandair, who covers most of Europe and several destinations in America and Canada as well. New destinations are added to their route map all the time, so please check their website in order to see if your country is on the list.

There are also a couple of low-cost carriers who fly to Keflavik from major European hubs.

Faroe Islands can be visited from Denmark all year round. Atlantic Airways offer several departures a day from Copenhagen but it is also possible to fly from: Amsterdam, Edinburgh, London (LHR) and Paris.

From Iceland you have connections to the Faroe Islands a couple of times a week.

We work closely together with all the above mentioned airlines, and we will be happy to help you check your most ideal flight schedule.
