A short hiking in the beautiful countryside of Narsarsuaq
Hiking in Greenland is a great adventure that is suitable for everyone. If the long hiking route is not your cup of tea, this 3-hour hiking excursion is for sure your best choice.
Departure at Hotel Narsarsuaq, we will drive around to pick up all the participants. Once everyone is ready, we will head to the beginning point of this ridge. Please make sure that you are reachable through mobile in Greenland to facilitate a smooth pick-up and communication.
In the beginning spot of this excursion, you will find yourself in a filed with a great variety of flowers and plants. It is called “Flower Valley”, and we will start hiking from here.
Alongside the hiking way, you will pass the stream and a lake. You can also see a white warehouse on the way here. Fresh air, picturesque scenery and experienced tour guide, this is a journey with lots of fun and relax.
After some moderate hiking, we will reach a top of a highland. From there, you can enjoy the amazing view over the flower valley, the stream, the fjord and the Narsarsuaq Glacier in the distance.
The duration of this excursion is around 3 hours. Please make sure to wear proper shoes.

For this excursion, we receive booking till the 4 days prior to the departure time of the excursion. However, please note that limited seats are provided. Late booking may be unavailable.
Weather in Greenland can be quite unpredictable, thus, cancellations and reschedule may occur.
If the excursion is cancelled due to weather conditions, failure to reach the minimum number of participants or other unpredictable situations, Arctic Adventure ApS reserves the right to cancel the excursion. For excursions cancelled by Arctic Adventure ApS under this situation, our customers will get a 100% refund.

EQUIPMENT LIST
- Other clothing should be picked according to weather that day, you will not get much colder on the glacier as on the ground.
- Sturdy Hiking Boots – waterproof with good ankle support.
- Shirts, both short and long sleeves
- Mosquito Masks and Mosquito repellent. Mosquito season in Greenland runs from mid-June to mid-August
- Sunscream with high SPF
- Lip balm, cream and moisturizer
- Woollen/or thermal windproof hat, which covers your neck (alternatively, thermal face mask);
- Woollen/or thermal gloves (ideal as a base layer under waterproof gloves or mittens);
- Woollen/or thermal socks
- Warm, insulated winter jacket
