Day 1 Reykjavik: Arrival day!
Your 8-day adventure starts with the beautiful Reykjavik.
You will be responsible for searching for and purchasing the flight ticket from your home country to Reykjavik. When you land in Keflavik Airport, you can use the Flybus shuttle ticket offered by us to transfer to Hotel Reykjavik Centrum.
Have some rest. Tomorrow we will fly to Greenland and explore Greenland with Arctic Adventure!

Day 2: Head to Narsarsuaq & City Walk
Today, we will get on the plane again and explore Greenland!
A local driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Reykjavik Domestic airport by a private car. Boarding Air Iceland flight, you will land in Narsarsuaq in around 2 hours and 20 minutes.
After check-in, there will be an information meeting hosted by our guide. You can then learn more about the itinerary and details you should pay attention to when you explore Greenland.
Today, a City Tour of Narsarsuaq is included in the itinerary. Together with Arctic Adventure guide, we will walk around in this small yet amazing settlement. You can immerse yourself in the UNESCO historical sites, ruins from centuries ago, sheep farms, green fields and icebergs floating in the fjord. You can get to know the nature and history essence of this settlement.
Tonight, you will stay at Hotel Narsarsuaq. Sleep tight!

Day 3 Qaqortoq: City Walk
Today, we will get on the boat and sail to Qaqortoq through incredible Erik’s Fjord. As the boat sailing towards the wide ocean, you can feel the refreshing air, hear the peaceful waves and see the gigantic icebergs.
When we arrive at the pier, Arctic Adventure guide will take care of the transportation and help you check-in at Hotel Qaqortoq. After a short rest, we can step outside to explore the beauty of Qaqortoq through the City Tour.
Qaqortoq is seen as the hidden garden and the most beautiful town of South Greenland. Lying between the fjord of Qaqortoq and the lake of Tasersuaq, Qaqortoq enjoys various stone carvings and sculptures. This City Tour lasts around 2 hours, and we will walk around the main attractions.
Tonight, a 2-course dinner is served at Hotel Qaqortoq to mark an ending of today’s adventure.

Day 4 Qaqortoq: Hvalsey Church Ruin & Hike Around Storesøen
Sailing and hiking are two must-do activities in South Greenland. Today, you can explore South Greenland on your schedule. Instead, you can join our well-organized excursions to experience the fjord and the mountains here fully.
Hvalsey Church Ruin is one of the historical sites in South Greenland. During this excursion, we will sail out to a nearby island Hvalsey and visit the Norse ruins there. Arctic Adventure guide will introduce the history, stories and interesting facts behind the ruins.
Hike Around Storesøen is a guided hiking excursion around the big lake Storesøen. This 12-km hiking path leads us through the beautiful Greenlandic nature and offers us a peaceful atmosphere outside the town. Lunch, tea and coffee are included in this excursion.

Today we will say goodbye to Qaqortoq and head to Narsarsuaq for more adventures! There are two ways to go to Narsarsuaq – by helicopter or by boat – it depends on the availability. If the helicopter is available, you will fly in a low altitude over the magnificent Arctic landscape to Narsarsuaq. It’s going to be a memorable way to start a new day of adventure!
But, in the days that the helicopters are not available, we will take the boat and sail through the beautiful fjords. The local guide will transfer you to Hotel Narsarsuaq after your arrival.
After checking-in at Hotel Narsarsuaq, you can explore the corners of this cosy settlement yourself. Narsarsuaq enjoys great mountains and amazing views. Enjoy your leisure time!

Day 6 Back to Reykjavik & City Sightseeing
Today, you need to go to the airport by yourself. With Air Iceland Connect, you will head back to Reykjavik.
When you arrive at Reykjavik Domestic Airport, a local driver will be there and accompany you back to your hotel with a private car.
After check-in, if you still have time and energy, you can choose to join our city sightseeing in Reykjavik.
With rich natural sites of lava and ice, Reykjavik is a well-organized city with a lot to explore. After checking in at the hotel, you can freely discover the city on your own or join our optional Reykjavik City Sightseeing by minibus. This excursion lasts around 3 hours and will present you with most of the highlights of Reykjavik in terms of architecture, culture and history. Harpa concert hall and the well-known Hallgrímskirkja church are some of the stops along the way. Pick up service is included.

We drive northeast and stop at the most famous attractions along the way - Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site of Gullfoss Waterfall; and the Great Geysir. Pick-up and drop-off service are included, please check with the hotel reception for the pick-up point near you.

Optional Activities The Golden Circle Classic – 7 hours, Difficulty 2Day 8: Reykjavik: South Iceland
The South Iceland Explorer Tour is another optional tour you can join. We drive south through unique farmlands, mountains, glaciers, extinct (hopefully) volcanos, and the roaring Atlantic Ocean. Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the black sand beach in Vik and Reynisdrangar are some of the attractions you will see on this trip of approximately 10 hours. Travel in a comfortable bus as you explore the South Coast on Iceland.

For this multi-day tour, we receive booking till the 5 weeks prior to the departure time of the excursion. However, please note that limited seats are provided. Late booking may be unavailable.
Weather in Greenland can be quite unpredictable, thus, cancellations and reschedule may occur.
If the excursion is cancelled due to weather conditions, failure to reach the minimum number of participants or other unpredictable situations, Arctic Adventure ApS reserves the right to cancel the excursion. For excursions cancelled by Arctic Adventure ApS under this situation, our customers will get a 100% refund.

EQUIPMENT LIST
- Other clothing should be picked according to weather that day, you will not get much colder on the glacier as on the ground.
- Sturdy Hiking Boots – waterproof with good ankle support.
- Shirts, both short and long sleeves
- Mosquito Masks and Mosquito repellent. Mosquito season in Greenland runs from mid-June to mid-August
- Sunscream with high SPF
- Lip balm, cream and moisturizer
- Woollen/or thermal windproof hat, which covers your neck (alternatively, thermal face mask);
- Woollen/or thermal gloves (ideal as a base layer under waterproof gloves or mittens);
