Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, and Geysir
The golden circle classic tour is a perfect combination of breath-taking Icelandic nature, history and culture. Within 6 to 7 hours, we will take you to the most iconic landscapes in Iceland.
The Golden Circle Classic covers a UNESCO World Heritage site – Thingvellir National Park. It is famous for Þingvellir church, ruins of an old stone shelter, and as the birthplace of Iceland Parliament, the first parliament in world history. Enjoying both historical value and natural attractions, this place is a must visit during your stay in Iceland. Iceland is also known as home to many majestic waterfalls – and Gullfoss is one of them. Walking on the wooden path, you can observe the waterfall at a rather close distance. Geysir is another highlight on this excursion. Holding your camera steady and waiting for the steam to explode into the cool Icelandic air is a wonderful and fascinating experience. The Golden Circle Classic tour will take you from the heart of Reykjavik to the north-eastern part of the capital region and back. Along the way, you will have the chance to marvel at enchanting landscapes, different terrains, and maybe spot some Icelandic horses in the distance!
We will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest pic-up point to your hotel before and after the tour, so all you need to do is relax and have fun! You can also go to the departure location at Gray Line Bus Terminal at Klettagarðar 4 if you wish.
