A few places is as beautiful and as breathtaking as boat ride to the calving Glacier Eqi, located in the fiord 80 kilometers north of Ilulissat.

On our way to EQI we will pass small settlements, steep fields, beautiful waterfalls and icebergs in all shapes and colors. This area is also excellent for spotting whales and hopefully the gentle giants of the sea will put in an appearance.

We enjoy dinner in front of the glacier before heading back  towards Ilulissat.

Almost back in Ilulissat we will make a stop in the small settlement Oqaatsut, a former Whaling station now in habbit by fishermen and hunters.

The guide will take us around the small settlement and we will take a short break for a coffee or tea and soak the impressions of this tiny society.
