Boat excursions in Qaqortoq (Min 4)

Embark on a captivating boat journey from Qaqortoq, sailing north past Narsaq and through Ikerssuaq Fjord. As we zig-zag through the waters, marvel at the multitude of drifting icebergs originating from the Greenland Ice Sheet.

Our destination is the accessible glacier tongue known as Tvillingebræen, or the Twin Glacier. Step ashore and take a short walk to touch the ice, witnessing the significant retreat it has undergone in recent decades. In the 1980s, it actively calved into the fjord.

The contrasting colors of the ice cap against the water, mountains, and sky create a stunning visual spectacle, making this one of South Greenland's most picturesque locations. On our return to Qaqortoq, enjoy sightings of bird cliffs and a charming waterfall.
